Pranav Sayta leads EY’s Family Business Center of Excellence in India. He advises companies and their families on a range of issues, including group and corporate restructuring, succession planning, international tax planning and policy, cross-border structuring and tax-related litigation.

Pranav also leads EY India’s Tax Practice for clients in the technology, communication and entertainment sectors.

Experience
A recognized leader in the industry, Pranav has more than 20 years’ experience advising Fortune 500 and other large multinationals, as well as leading Indian corporates, on domestic and international tax.  As Leader of EY’s Transaction Tax Practice in India, he worked extensively on structuring complex inbound and outbound transactions, cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.

A frequent contributor on tax and regulatory issues in leading publications and journals, Pranav is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences and serves on the committees of leading professional bodies, including the executive committee of the India branch of the International Fiscal Association.

Qualifications
Pranav qualified as a Gold-Medallist Chartered Accountant, attaining first rank at all-India level.

Credentials
Pranav has worked with clients including AV Birla Group, Essar, Tata, Bharti Airtel, Reliance, GMR, Walt Disney, Goldman Sachs, KKR, Temasek, Warburg Pincus and IGate.
